Project location - Karvenagar, Pune
In this particular project, we had to maintain the historical nature of the house while simultaneously adding touches of modernity and functionality. This 40-year-old house was renovated in stages starting with the outdoor garden area and proceeding to the kitchen and living areas.
One of the advantages in the original design of the house was the liberal room sizes and this extra area was carefully retained and enhanced in the refurbishment process and served as clean circulation areas.
Emphasis was added on making the house more functional and practical yet keeping in mind the timeless nature of its structure and original design.
